EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus Review 2026: The Sweet Spot for Day Trips
Share
Where RIVER 3 Plus Fits in the Lineup
EcoFlow's RIVER 3 series has three models, and the Plus hits the middle ground that most day-trippers actually need:
| Model | Capacity | Weight | Price Range | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RIVER 3 | 310 Wh | 7.7 lbs | $299–349 | Phone charging, small lights |
| RIVER 3 Plus | 567 Wh | ~13 lbs | $499–549 | Day trips, laptops, mini-fridge |
| RIVER 3 Max Plus | 720+ Wh | 17 lbs | $699–749 | Camping, CPAP, multiple devices |
What 567 Wh Actually Powers
- Laptop (MacBook Air): 8–10 full charges
- Portable fridge (mini, 15L): 6–8 hours
- Projector: 3–4 movies
- Drone batteries (Mavic series): 12–15 charges
- Phone (iPhone 15): 45+ charges
For context: the base RIVER 3 (310 Wh) handles about half of these numbers. The Plus gives you breathing room without the weight penalty of the Max Plus.
Build Quality & Portability
The RIVER 3 Plus uses the same LiFePO4 (LFP) chemistry as EcoFlow's premium DELTA line — 3,000+ cycle life, 10-year lifespan at once-weekly use. The chassis is drop-tested from 1 meter and rated IP54 for dust/splash resistance.
At ~13 lbs, it fits in a backpack or tote bag. The integrated handle is rubberized for grip, and the corners have reinforced bumpers.
